JUST SO YOU KNOW.

Photobucket
There are days that I have no idea what to post on this blog. Some days, it flows freely, other days, not so much.

Some days, I don't think I can muster the energy to push these two one more time. Other days, I could spend all day doing under-dogs with them.

I finished my visiting teaching yesterday. The last day of February. And, now we begin all over again with March.

Last week Hannah was my perfect child. This week, I am sure she has ear plugs in when I am talking to her.

Last night we thought my mom was coming for a visit this weekend. This morning, we found out the anticipated trip fell through.

Please tell me your life is like mine. Lots of ups and downs!

Quote taken from this talk.

Sounds about right to me! Life always seems to keep you on your toes, which I guess is part of the fun of it all. And the frustration sometimes. I think the military adds a whole new level of that. But yes, I'd agree with Elder Ben B. Banks...it will so be worth it.

It is - but I think this blog is brilliant and you are acomplishing more good than you will ever know through it(sincerely).

I am an avid reader, Julie Beck fan and regularly inspired - thank you for the time you put into this blog.

The beauty of this blog is that we all know you are a Real Mom, prone to the usual vexations of raising kids. If you weren't Real, then what you have to share wouldn't be as meaningful! The fact that you can rise above it all and inspire the rest of us is what makes you unique!

Up and Down! Those are the exact words I used last night to describe how my days have been feeling to Jeff! Miss Mads has learned the word "No" and loves to use it every chance she gets. Trying to teach her when and how to use it appropriately has been an emotional rollercoaster! I know it may not sound like a big deal, but having your sweetie girl yell “NO!” at you and then turn around two seconds later giving you a hug and a kiss can make for a pretty up and down day! (Pregnancy can add to that just a touch too!) Thank goodness for those downs! When we are on the path, and we see them coming, it helps me keep going knowing there is a greater reward in the end. Great post and quote! Just what I needed today :)

Up and down for sure. I'm thankfully on the up swing after having a 2 year old with vomiting and diaherra for 5 weeks! Not pretty. And I must say I love that quote, but I might be biased since it's from my Grandpa. Either way it made me smile, so thanks. :)

@Louise, thank you for the sweet comment. I appreciate you taking the time to even say that!

@Emily, way cool that your Grandpa is Elder Banks. I would be biased too!

Thanks to all of you for your sweet comments--they really make my day.
