ONE SCRIPTURE STUDY TECHNIQUE.

Thank you for all of the dialogue about comparing and blogging in general. One of my favorite things about this blogging excursion of mine is how much I am learning from other sound mamas across the globe. I appreciate your wisdom. As in everything, moderation is key.

In the midst of de-junking prior to our big move I came across my own personal topical guide that I have added to over the years, and thought some of you might be interested in seeing it. It all began as a new missionary in the MTC, trying to keep all of my papers and thoughts organized.

I bought the biggest binder the MTC store (which is awesome by the way) offered and some alphabetical dividers and I was set. I use notebook paper for each topic as they arise and note down any scriptures I find in my studying that I always want to correlate with a certain topic listed on those pages. I chose a binder instead of a notebook so that I could add other papers, such as talks, quotes or newspaper clippings. I was very faithful with it on my mission and now I always add notes and handouts from lessons I teach and any talks I give. Over the years it has become somewhat of a treasure, and very useful I might add. And, since I chose a three inch binder,  I'm sure it will last me for years to come.

I am trying not to brag about our Texas winter, but the weekend forecasts look beautiful! Have a good one.

I love that you shared your scripture topic study. I enjoy learning about how others get the most out of their scripture study. You have a similar system to the redheadedhostess.com 's. Thanks for sharing!
