CHRISTMAS WEEK.
image via Katherine Marie
Thank you all for your well wishes on our big news. We are getting more and more excited, though suddenly our Christmas wish lists have changed. The rain boots have been removed and we are on the hunt for board shorts and flip flops, or are they slippers? It is nice to know there are so many nice folks enjoying life on the islands.
We are in the home stretch to the big day. Are you all ready to settle down and enjoy the holiday or is it still go, go, go? My mom and I made our grocery list and menus last night. I am just sure though that we'll be making a few more trips to the store, that always seems to be the case. We also have a few more things to get for the stockings and then our low-key Christmas will be wrapped up.
Here are a few things I've been enjoying:
This great article about traditions has got me thinking, especially as Christmas Eve nears and we look towards the new year. I also love the idea of doing a siblings exchange on Christmas Eve.
Do you have a Christmas Elf? My mother-in-law sent us Kelly, our Elf on the Shelf. The tale says that he will return to the North Pole on Christmas Eve, but I would really like to work out a deal to keep him around since Hannah's behavior turns on a dime when we mention that Kelly is watching.
I loved these images of the nativity. So many ideas you can do with your little ones.
Have a great Monday. Hope it's productive.

I liked that article on traditions, and having at least one a month- always something to look forward to.
Have fun with your fam Erin!
